How It Works
Getting started is simple. Call us or text us with a general idea of what you're looking for – size, color, temperament, timeline. We'll respond within 48 to 72 hours, and in most cases sooner.
Because availability changes quickly, we don't maintain a live list of puppies on our website. Once we hear from you, we'll talk through what's currently available.
A Note on Pricing
We don't publish a starting price as variables such as size, color, breeding quality, and specialty characteristics all affect the final price. We'll quote a price for each puppy individually once we understand what you're looking for.
Some colors and sizes are not always available. We'll let you know what's on hand when we speak.
For families who decide a puppy isn't the right fit, we occasionally have older dogs for adoption.
We Do Not Ship Our Puppies
We don't ship puppies – full stop. You're welcome to pick up your puppy in person, or we'll arrange hand delivery to your local airport.
Puppy is to be paid in full by the time it is 8 weeks old, even if it is to remain a little longer.
Holding Your Puppy
We require a deposit in advance to hold a puppy. Generally it is $300.
Deposits are non-refundable – once we hold a puppy for you, we turn away other buyers, and with each passing day our ability to place that puppy elsewhere becomes more limited.
If your plans change and you'd like to select a different puppy later, we're happy to apply your deposit toward that purchase.
Deposits can be made by Zelle or Venmo.
Terms of Sale
All sales are made on the basis of the following terms and conditions. Please read everything carefully before placing a deposit.
Pricing
Each puppy is priced individually. The total price includes transportation.
Registration
All of my adult dogs are registered with AKC and all puppies are therefore eligible for registry with AKC and UKC.
Payment
Full payment – purchase price minus deposit, plus any agreed costs – must be received before the puppy is transferred. No puppy will leave with a balance owed. On rare occasions we have allowed recurring payments prior to delivery – these are considered part of the non-refundable deposit and are offered at our discretion only.
Purchase Agreement
Before your puppy is transferred, you will be asked to sign and return a statement confirming you have read and understood all information on this site related to your purchase.

Our Commitment
Every puppy placed through Rennie's Rose Red Poodles is raised according to several non-negotiable standards. All vaccinations are current and fully documented. The highest levels of nutrition are maintained throughout. Every puppy is kept in excellent health through diligent care and regular veterinary oversight. We will never knowingly misrepresent the genetic history, bloodline, pedigree, or physical condition of any animal we place.
What's Covered
- All puppies are guaranteed for one year from date of birth to be free of congenital defects including – but not limited to – severe Patella Luxation affecting mobility, Leg Perthes, Hip Dysplasia, Cataracts, Epilepsy/Seizures, Tracheal Collapse, and heart or liver ailments.
- Any inherited life-threatening medical illness is covered from one to five years of age from date of birth.
What's Not Covered
- Environmental conditions such as ear mites, coccidiosis, giardiasis, and other parasites that may develop after the puppy leaves our care are not covered.
- Behavioral issues caused by stress, household dynamics, noise, or lack of attention are not covered.
- Physical injuries occurring outside of our custody are not covered.
- The death of any puppy up to 5 years of age requires a death certificate, DNA sample, and a complete autopsy by a licensed Veterinary Pathologist before any liability is assumed.
- We do not accept liability for any losses related to hypoglycemia. Detailed prevention and treatment instructions are included with every puppy we place.
How Issues Are Resolved
Should any settlement under any of the conditions of our warranty become necessary, we reserve the right to resolve any problem by the following means and with the stipulations listed below:
- Replace the dog based on the findings of our veterinarian following a consultation with the client's veterinarian, and with our regaining possession of the original dog.

Provide surgical intervention to resolve the medical defect under the following conditions:
- Any needed surgery would be performed only following a consultation with our veterinarian, who will determine whether the procedure is indicated, appropriate, and which provider should perform it.
- The new owner will be required to submit full medical records, including laboratory results, pathological reports, and imaging results including x-rays, CT, or MRI. A DNA sample may also be requested to verify the identity of the dog.

Should surgery be required and agreed to by the consulting veterinarians, we reserve the right to take one of the following actions:
- Engage our veterinarian to perform the surgery, with both the buyer and ourselves sharing equally in all costs – including shipping, housing, and medical procedures.
- If it is agreed that the health of the animal might be compromised by travel, and the procedure can be performed properly by a mutually acceptable provider near the buyer's home, we will pay up to half of all medical costs not exceeding the original purchase price of the dog.*
- Under no set of circumstances or hardship will we ever accept a liability greater than half the amount stated by our veterinarian.
- Under no circumstance or condition will we assume any liability for any surgery or medical procedure unless said surgery or medical procedure is performed only after consultation and concurrence with Rennie's Rose Red Poodles.
- In all cases, the limit of liability of Rennie's Rose Red Poodles will never exceed the purchase price of the dog.**
- Any puppy replacement or refund is never determined unilaterally – it can only occur with concurrence between the seller and the buyer.
*Forty-nine (49) percent of all small breed dogs will demonstrate some degree of Patella Luxation. Repairs of this condition are now only recommended in those cases presenting severe problems with mobility such as walking or running.
**For example, if a dog was purchased for $1,500 and an agreed-to surgery was $1,200, we would pay $600. If the surgery were to be $4,000, we would pay the original purchase price of that dog – in other words, a maximum of $1,500.
